Madison and Wall is proud to announce the first edition of the weekly M&W Podcast. where your hosts Olivia Morley and Brian Wieser will review the work Madison and Wall produced over the prior week in an effort to dig into how the advertising business really works.
New podcasts will drop on Friday afternoons in order to provide a current summary of the most recent week in review. Think of this as an audio version of Madison and Wall’s Saturday Summary, plus an overview of important economic data, history as well as concepts from finance, accounting and statistics that relate to the broader industry. We also talk about the news of the week that we didn’t get a chance to fully analyze.
On this first edition we discuss Madison and Wall’s new US advertising forecast, gross vs. net revenue recognition for agencies, the Amazon media agency account shift, the origins of advertising forecasts and much more.
