I also wrote about what I think is the right way to think about forecasting video consumption trends among different distributors of content. As I note, it’s mostly a function of share of spending on content, and based on how different distributors are likely to shift that spending over the next couple of years, unsurprisingly it’s likely that ad-free or ad-light services will take significant share going forward.
